Securing online bookings
Online bookings are secured with a deposit your client pays when they book. You set the percentage (30–100%) in Settings → Online booking.
Deposit
Clients pay a deposit when they book online — a percentage of the booking total that you set. The balance is paid at your venue.
Deposit paid at booking
Charged online when the client books. The remaining balance is paid at your venue with your usual payment methods.

The rest of the booking is paid in person on a GlossNow card reader.

The rest of the booking is paid in person on your own EFTPOS terminal.
Deposit kept on a no-show or late cancellation
You keep the whole deposit. Nothing more is charged to the client.
Refunding a deposit
Refunds are always your decision: refund in full, or refund minus the fees so the client covers them.
Stripe rates shown are for Australian domestic cards, billed by Stripe and deducted from your payouts. International cards: 3.5% + A$0.30.
When you refund a payment, the GlossNow fee is refunded with it; Stripe's processing fee is not. Deposit refunds are the exception: neither fee is refunded.
